Who we are
SOVAN is a family-owned agro-industrial company created in 2020 and operating at full capacity since 2025. We focus on transforming and adding value to diverse agricultural products, serving both local and regional markets with consistent quality and reliability.
Our modern facility is located in Rutegama zone, Kiganda municipality, Gitega province — proudly rooted in the founder’s community.
We produce maize grits for breweries, maize flour, animal feed, and polypropylene (PP) packaging bags, including reusable woven bags for supermarkets. We operate with strong quality controls meeting the Burundi Bureau of Standards and Quality Control, and also customers specifications with our in-house lab capabilities, and full traceability— supporting local supply chains and farmers.
